The Sprint LTE Network Retires Starting June 30, 2022

As part of our ongoing efforts to create a supercharged network, we're retiring the Sprint LTE network starting June 30, 2022, to free up spectrum and resources that will help us strengthen our entire network and move all customers to more advanced technologies like 5G.

Most Sprint devices, including handsets and non-handsets, are compatible with T-Mobile's network.

They can continue to be used if:

1. The SIM card is replaced with a T-Mobile SIM card, and
2. LTE and VoLTE are enabled in device settings, if applicable

We have a free T-Mobile SIM card for you to replace your Sprint SIM card so you can keep using your existing device.

Some devices are not compatible with the T‑Mobile network and must be upgraded or replaced before June 30, 2022 to be able to access the T‑Mobile network to continue using service, including the ability to make 911 calls depending on your location.

We want to make this as easy as possible and provide you with the information you need. We continue to have options for you, including options for a free replacement device for your impacted device(s) before June 30, 2022 to avoid service interruptions.

Please take action now to avoid any interruption to your wireless services starting June 30, 2022, and make the move to take advantage of T-Mobile's bigger, better 4G & 5G networks.
